I helped Google's genomics/health projects get started many years ago and literally the top item of my docs was "do not claim you are going to cure cancer, because the medical establishment knows that's not an achievable goal and will not take you seriously".

But then, Ruth has absolutely zero qualification to say something like this, so it's easy to just dismiss it outright.
