Show HN: Recipe Converter – Instantly Adapt Recipes to Your Diet

https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/recipe-converter-–-quick/pioagjmbjdhebcnimglgiemfkobcfilj?authuser=0&hl=en

Hi HN,

I built a Chrome extension called Recipe Converter that automatically adapts any recipe you find online to your dietary needs — Vegan, Keto, Gluten-Free, Low-Sodium, or Dairy-Free — in one click.

I made this because I was constantly finding great recipes that didn’t fit my diet, and manually swapping ingredients was tedious. Most tools make you copy-paste recipes into separate apps, but Recipe Converter works directly in your browser, detecting recipe pages and suggesting smart ingredient substitutions automatically.

It’s designed to make healthy eating and managing restrictions easier without changing your browsing habits.

Features: Instantly personalizes recipes for your chosen diet Smart substitutions for allergens and health goals Works automatically while you browse (no copying or forms)

Chrome Web Store: https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/recipe-converter-%E...

Would love any feedback — especially from anyone with food allergies, nutrition experience, or interest in accessibility. I’m also curious how others would handle more complex substitutions (like macros or the edge case conversions).

Thanks for reading!
