I’ve been building a React-based Ratings & Reviews SaaS from scratch — a tool for developers and small brands that want full control over how they collect and display customer reviews, without iframe widgets or locked-down integrations.
Why I built it
Most existing review systems are either too rigid or require third-party embedding (Shopify apps, Trustpilot, etc.).
I wanted a developer-first system that you can drop directly into your React project, customize the form fields, and own the entire data flow — both frontend and backend.
What it does
Fully customizable review form (stepper tool)
Add your own questions, like custom ratings (1–10), yes/no, text areas, photo upload, or even a YouTube link.
Forms are organized under 3 categories: Personal Info, Product Quality, and Brand Feedback.
Dashboard
A clean interface to view reviews, analytics, and product performance.
Includes metrics for sentiment, average ratings, and review trends.
Built with
React, MUI, Node.js, and MongoDB — with Stripe subscription integration.
Current status
It’s in early release — still a few bugs and missing SEO structured data for Google stars — but I wanted to share it early to get real developer feedback before going full launch.
If you build with React or run a small e-commerce project, I’d love your thoughts.
You can test it, play with the dashboard, or break it — I’m open to all feedback.
