I ran into a common pain point while looking for specific design resources for my new website: I needed a variety of posters, Twitter Open Graph images, and website illustrations, but the existing solutions often fell short of my needs:
1. Overly Complex UI: I found many tools too complex to use; I dislike dragging and dropping elements on an infinite canvas when all I need is a quick result.
2. The Subscription Pain: Many of the existing high-quality tools require a subscription. For a side project, I really dislike the idea of paying a continuous monthly fee for occasional or very specific usage.
This issue made me realize: I needed a simple, efficient, and non-subscription-based tool. So, I decided to build one myself. This past month, I built and released the first official version of design0.ai.
The Core Problem design0.ai Aims to Solve:
1. Extreme Simplicity: The operation is extremely simple, and can even be completed smoothly on a mobile phone, allowing you to focus on content, not dragging design elements.
2. A New Payment Model: Focusing on a pay-as-you-go or a freemium model to completely eliminate mandatory monthly subscriptions. You only pay for the designs you actually use.
I'm currently collecting feedback to see if this can help other community members facing similar frustrations.
