I built a Chrome extension that removes background noise from video files entirely in the browser. Processing is fully on-device (no uploads) and runs ~10× faster than real time—e.g., a 20-minute clip in ~2 minutes.

It supports common containers/codecs, when possible it preserves the original video stream and container, re-encodes only the cleaned audio, and remuxes the result.
