Musci.io – Text-to-Music AI Generator (20-30 second generation time) We built Musci.io, an AI music generator that creates professional-quality music from text descriptions in 20-30 seconds. The technical approach: Our system interprets natural language prompts and generates complete musical compositions across 100+ genres. Users can specify genre, mood, tempo (60-200 BPM), key, and structure through text input. The AI analyzes these parameters and composes original tracks with proper instrumentation and arrangement. Key technical features:

Text-to-music synthesis: Natural language processing to interpret musical intent from descriptions Multi-genre support: Trained on diverse musical styles (pop, rock, jazz, classical, electronic, hip-hop, etc.) Parametric control: Fine-grained control over tempo, key, mood, and musical structure Fast generation: Complete tracks in 20-30 seconds High-quality output: Export in 320kbps MP3 or lossless WAV

The workflow:

Describe your music in plain text (e.g., "upbeat electronic track with synth arpeggios, 128 BPM, energetic mood") Optionally customize style parameters Generate in ~30 seconds Download royalty-free tracks

Current scale:

10,000+ active users 500K+ tracks generated Used by content creators, game developers, podcast producers, and indie filmmakers

We're interested in feedback from the HN community, especially on the technical approach and potential use cases we haven't considered. All generated music is royalty-free with commercial licensing included. Try it at: https://musci.io Happy to answer technical questions about the architecture, training approach, or implementation details.

Works great, just generated my first songs. Great composition and arrangement (not yet as great as Suno, see below). But the sound quality is better than Suno (less compression/alias artefacts, more transparent)! Is it possible to upload my songs (audio) and create a cover version of them?

EDIT: here my first attempts:

And for comparison a couple of songs created with Suno with the same kind of prompt (but with audio upload): https://rochus-keller.ch/?p=1428

Oops, just noticed that I accidentally posted the same link twice. So here is the other one: http://rochus-keller.ch/Diverses/musci.io_My_first_attempt_1...
