I think most of the OSS project should be a Open Source.
But sadly, some of the projects are rant from others time and they've gone to close or non permissive. (AGPL is great but "attitude" is bad, they're using LICENSE as a strategic way of Business.)

Sure, as a single person who does not want to interact with lawyers, there is not much can do to prevent malicious actor from using your code.
But what your license affects is large companies. If you declare your project as AGPL, then you can be pretty sure neither Google nor Amazon would use it. They might re-implement it using their resources, but they won't use code directly.

If you don't care about what people do with your code, it's better to use MIT0 or BSD0 that are just polite versions of the WTFPL.
