I'm an avid golfer -- it's my main hobby. Chicagoland is blessed with an abundance of public golf courses. I had an idea in 2022 to start documenting the courses I play in both the city and suburbs. Over the past 3 years, I've visited over 200 golf courses and took pictures and notes, documenting everything from the clubhouses, pro shops, scorecards, driving ranges, putting greens, golf holes.. and even the course hot dogs. (Courses should take their hot dogs seriously!)

It's been a fun labor of love. My goal is to create the ultimate Chicago golf guide. The course catalog has in-depth descriptions of most courses, where I've done my best to research the history of the property. That is painstaking work for 200+ courses but I find it fascinating. The work continues.
