I think it is lame that ‘American Express” feels compelled to buy an Ad on Google so that if I am looking to pay my bill they will always be on top…
But: that official Taylor Swift is a site for sore eyes, I mean look at that ‘handwritten’ letter to her fans that is close to impossible to read. Reminds me of back in the 1990s when my sister-in-law came up to Ithaca and was excited to see the official web site advertised on TV [1] but it too was a site for sore eyes and eclipsed completely by fan sites. The swifties I know are pretty obsessed in real life and I can’t imagine that their works completely trash Taylor’s own site.
[1] back then I had a 486DX2 machine I built myself which was named ryo-oh-ki after a character from Tenchi Mayo! with a matching background and a 56k modem I bought cheap from what was one of the first banner ads on the WWW.
