I am not a Dr, this is not medical advice. I am not connected to Hyfe, nor am an AI; at least I don’t think I am.
After having a chest infection my cold switched to more of a spasm.
After some medicine I checked my SleepCycle app which tracked my coughs at night.
Then I remembered I had used a cough monitor two years ago. Reinstalled it on my watch to see it had been greatly improved.

It talks about cough hypersensitivity, and for the proportion of people in its questionnaire it did not exclude, it goes through a little training on how to learn to prevent cough spasms. I remember it helped from two years ago, at least I remember trying to tamp down the cough spasms.
This comes after the very the BBC podcast “Sliced Bread” on coughing was released which was sceptical regarding all cough medicine, but paid no heed to the CoughPro app.
