NOTE: Headline edited from "Fortune: Nevada Gov. Lombardo's office intervened to rescind $400K in safety fines against Musk's Boring Company" to fit.

They didn't just rescind the fines, they tried to delete all documents about the fines and any records that pertain to them ... including meeting notes that the governor had when they met with Boring Company. They demoted or wrote up staff who were involved in the case.
Reads like corruption from the Governor's office.

I don't get it. Why has this company become a thing? They aren't solving a problem or working towards a fixing a problem. I would even say they are just wasting recourses and causing future problems. Why are they getting so much attention and support. Even to they point of being in the sights of a governor.
