Show HN: Palettt – AI Powered Color Palette Generator

https://palettt.com
2•mustafaiste•2mo ago
Hi HN,

I built Palettt, a tool to help designers and front-end developers work with color more easily. You can try it directly here — no signup required: https://palettt.com

I made this because I’m a developer who’s not great with color, and I kept bouncing between different palette tools. I wanted something that lets you generate, extract, tweak, and apply colors all in one place.

Features

Palette Generator with lock/unlock, drag & drop sorting, harmony tweaks

Contrast checking and accessibility hints

Image color extraction (upload an image → get the palette → make a collage)

Real UI previews to test your palette in components/layouts

Explore page with community palettes

Export to CSS, Tailwind, or PNG

Why I built it

I originally made it for myself, but after some feedback and some roasting from several subreddits, I improved the UI and added more useful tools.

Would love feedback on

Is the UX intuitive?

Anything missing for dev workflow?

Performance issues in the generator or image extractor?

Happy to answer any questions or dive into the tech stack (Next.js, TypeScript, Tailwind, Prisma, tRPC).

Thanks for checking it out!
