I’m sure it’s true, but I don’t realistically consider him to be cited more than e.g. Nyquist or Cooley and Tukey (no doubt there are many others, these just come to mind) or of course all the enlightenment guys, Newton, Gauss, Euler - Bengio is not even in the same ballpark, even the same continent the ballpark is in as those guys. Just thinking there should be a better way to quantify this. Also, even as far as more popular modern day science, um, Einstein?
