- does market(QQQ) sell off regardless of earnings, we don't expect surprises given that they affirmed guidance so recently
- what does SK Hynix do based on these earnings, that may be the trade
- Are China numbers broken out
- What the rest of the MAG7 does after hours based on this.
- they have insane gross margins of about 74%, these shrinking could be a good indicator of a slowdown or competition.
Numbers:
- Rev $57B Est $55.2B
- Datacenter rev $51.2B Est, $49.3B
- Gaming Rev $4.3B Est $4.4, amazing that this was their original revenue and what the company was built on, not it could go away and it would be a bad quarter
- Adj EPS $1.3
- Adj Gross Margins of 73.6% slightly down and the only real metric that didn't improve, but we'll expect it to be better as Blackwell ramps
- Q4 Est Rev around $66B, good sized jump and one of the biggest issues for the market. The Bull market goes on for atleast another quarter then.
- Balance sheet has $60B on it. Come on Jensen put that in BTC so you can juice the stock market and the crypto market.
- FCF $22B, wow
- $37B in divs and buy backs YTD
- From Bloomberg....Kress says sizable H20 orders never materialized as competition heats up in China, adding she’s disappointed the company wasn’t able to sell there.
This is pretty darn interesting
- stocks not moving much after hours but its important to note that due to it being the most valuable company in the world each percent is approx $100B in movement, that's a lot of capital
- tech basket is up after hours as you'd expect, 2-4%, QQQs up
- no mention of China, disappointing, but you can see why they might not mention China in today's climate
- Saw ZeroHedge report NVDA had 4 customers who each represent more than 10% of NVDA's total revenue, with the biggest at 22%
- Interesting tidbit, they say they got $2B of revenue from older hopper chips
- Kress stressed that the useful life of GPUs is being extended, which helps alot of the tech companies that were stretching the depreciation of their chips from the 4 years they used to use to up to 7 in some cases.
I wonder if she was asked to speak to that point by the hyper scalers CFOs?

How many customers do you think AMD and AVGO have in AI?
Nvidia having 4 customers at 60% is good news because it was 90% 2 years ago.
