I built this tool because I found it difficult to access content on NPO Start (the Dutch public broadcaster) as a non-native speaker. While there is a lot of good local content, very little of it has English subtitles.
This is a command-line tool that fetches the Dutch subtitles from the NPO stream and translates them into English (SRT/VTT format) so you can use them with your media player. It helps bridge the gap for expats living in the Netherlands or people trying to learn the language who need English context.
It's open source and runs locally on your machine. I'd love to hear any feedback on the translation quality or suggestions for feature improvements.
