Has this ever happened to anyone else? It has happened to me over a dozen times over the years, even going back to Windows 8. And it always happened when the update had been paused too many times and it always resolved it self after the update.

It happened, perhaps for the last time now as the last update came in. It's impossible to find discussions on this topic online but I know for certain this has been a pattern on varied computers I've owned and I just have a human need to talk to someone else about this.

Why hasnt anyone done anything about this in terms of writing an article or even going to court? Imagine it happening in the middle of an important meeting, a virtual court session, a poker game, etc?

I've lucked out so far.
