Local LLMs are how nerds now justify a big computer they don't need

Nerds want to run local LLMs for one or more of these reasons:

1. They want privacy to have naughty discussions their AI

2. They want privacy to generate naughty pics/videos

3 They want privacy for work related discussions.

4. Often nerds need need to travel and don't have access to the internet. I can't count how many times I wish I had a good local LLM while on a long flight.

5. Nerds generally love to run software that maximizes every transistor in their computer so they feel like it was worth the money. They'll buy a game like Cyberpunk just to max out their hardware even if they don't care about the game.

6. They generally love to experiment with local LLMs and to understand it more. Maybe they want to work in this field or already do.
