Proof – Court-admissible cloud evidence acquisition (free 1GB tier)

Hi HN,

I'm a forensic expert witness (10+ years) and kept seeing the same problem: people submit screenshots as evidence in divorce/custody cases, but screenshots aren't court-admissible. Traditional forensic tools cost £5k-50k/year, making them inaccessible to individuals and small law firms.

Proof lets you acquire Google Drive and OneDrive (iCloud and social medias coming soon) with full forensic integrity: - SHA-256/SHA-512/MD5 hashing of every file - Complete chain of custody documentation - AES-256-GCM encryption at rest - OAuth-based (read-only access)

Free tier: 1GB included. Paid acquisitions: £49 for up to 15GB.

Tech stack: React + Fastify + PostgreSQL + AWS (S3/KMS). Currently going through Google's CASA security review for OAuth verification.

Built this while working full-time because I saw too many cases fall apart due to inadmissible evidence. Would love feedback from the technical and legal folks here.
