Real-time interaction between the agent and user is the backbone of video KYC. We built this on top of a WebRTC-based communication layer, which enables real-time communication via audio/video. Our goal was to build a modern, browser-friendly, and low-latency platform, and for that, WebRTC was the best fit. We leveraged the functionalities of WebRTC to utilise it for various use cases in video KYC. Let’s walk through the multiple layers that exist and how we used each one of them for video KYC
