Show HN: Truesize.net – Now with 140k regions and iOS and Android apps

Hi! Thanks again for all the great feedback on my earlier post. I’ve added a lot since then and wanted to share an update. I’m also very open to more ideas or criticism.

For anyone who hasn’t seen it yet, TrueSize.net is an interactive tool that lets you visualize and compare the real size of countries on a world map and globe (without Mercator distortion).

What’s new: - Support for 140k+ regions, provinces, states, and territories - not just countries. - Many regions now include population, area, and short descriptions. - Official mobile apps on iOS and Android (links are on the site, top-right corner). - A new mini-game where you guess which region is larger. It starts with large regions and gets progressively smaller. It’s surprisingly hard, so feedback is welcome. - Everything is free to use. No ads on the map or in the apps - only limited ads on tutorial/description pages.

Would love your thoughts, especially around UI, performance, and any missing regions or features.
