> I like boristhebrave’s 6x8 Blob Tileset that I’m going to steal for this example
> It consists of 42 tiles X 4 transitions = 168 unique tiles per biome.
> I’m not drawing 168 tiles with unique tessellating patterns, are you out of your mind?
1. Why are they trying to draw 168 tiles if they've already committed to using the 168 tiles from boristhebrave's tileset?
> Why can’t I provide a set of patterns and generate a tile map automatically?
2. What do they mean by pattern?
3. What do they mean by tilemap (they were referring to a "level" earlier so I'm not sure whether it's synonymous for a level to them?)
4. Why are they trying to "generate" a tile map as oppoaed to use the Tiled level editor, which they initially said they were going to use anyway?
(The rest of the article is incomprehensible to me because I don't get what they're trying to achieve.)
