Keep these Stupid American Trucks out of Europe [video]

To add, (in UK atleast), the parking space in some spots could be really small [1]. I have seen bulky cars parked leaving no room for neighboring slots.

lupinglade•2mo ago
And Canada too.
carbonbioxide•2mo ago
always hated when people buy these for non-utility purposes, it's all marketing and the perceived notion of looking tough. Specially because these big trucks cause more pollution, both smog and noise.
recursivedoubts•2mo ago
while we are on the topic, get these awesome foreign trucks into US:

Would the Europeans be okay with us banning their products from our roads?
happytoexplain•2mo ago
If they produced something bad/dangerous, presumably - though of course they may be biased, as Americans would be regarding American products.

Reversing the nouns in a sentence doesn't magically make it the same thing, semantically or subjectively or morally.

mitthrowaway2•2mo ago
I think whether America allows European vehicles on American roads is really a question for the Americans to decide, not the Europeans.
Flundstrom2•2mo ago
If the US wants to keep its population down and medical costs up by banning safe products, that's up to the US to decide.
queenkjuul•2mo ago
Why would they care what we do with our roads?
general1465•2mo ago
European trucks effectively are banned in USA through tariffs.
FartinMowler•2mo ago
By the end of Trump's third term the US will be isolated from almost all global trade anyways.
grimblee•2mo ago
Yes, ban everything please
lakis•2mo ago
The European new headlights are illegal in US. They are superior but still illegal.
zaruvi•2mo ago
I'm already so annoyed by the SUV craze that flew over from the US. Cars are already getting bigger, with no apparent benefit besides status (as marketed by the industry).

Am I the only one who thinks these vehicles look silly on top of all the added danger?

BrandoElFollito•2mo ago
SUV are easier to get in, you do not need to be a contortionist to get to your seat.

My brother has an Audi sedan and I find it difficult to get in. This is practically impossible for our father. OTOH he is fine with climbing into my SUV

I have Toyota RAV4, a not so big car, but hugh enough for my butt to basically slide in without effort.

grimblee•2mo ago
They are ugly and I'm convinced people who likes them have some kind of inferiority complex
HardwareLust•2mo ago
Why is this flagged?
grimblee•2mo ago
Because this is an american news feed and they don't like the truth
