I built Fin2Cents to help people learn to invest without risking real money or sliding into meme-stock gambling.
You can construct and stress-test portfolios using Mean-Variance Optimization (Markowitz / 1990 Nobel) every day. On top of that, there are: • Short, gamified lessons on risk, return, and diversification • A live leaderboard that tracks daily (simulated) returns of your portfolios.
The problem I’m trying to solve: most people either 1. YOLO into whatever’s trending, or 2. Avoid investing completely because it feels scary/opaque.
Fin2Cents aims for a middle path: helping people build wealth calmly with time-tested ideas, not vibes.
Would love feedback from the HN community — on the product, UX, or the approach in general.

Happy to answer any technical/product questions in the comments.
