It would eliminate them for me, personally, as I don't use app stores so would presumably not have to be "verified". But it's awful for everyone else.

If it became required in order to use the web or other internet services, I don't know what I'd do. I consider the schemes I've seen to be too intrusive and dangerous to subject myself to.
