Ask HN: What are some things I should bring to my first in-person job?

2•PuleMeOriz•35m ago
My first job was fully remote and my next role is fully in-office, so I'm not really sure what to expect.

What are some things that you think are needed (Or helpful) for a position like this?

Comments

codingdave•29m ago
You should not need a single thing, other than maybe some lunch money and ID to do the first-day paperwork. In-office jobs should provide everything that is needed. Once you get started, you might want to bring some personal items, but just go on the first day, see how the office is set up, and decide on those things later.
