How it works: Import tasks from Linear/Jira. Break them down, add private notes. Each morning, pick your priorities for the day. Then execute: pick a task, enter focus mode, distractions blocked (apps + websites), work on one thing. Sessions are based on ultradian cycles (90 min focus blocks) - Andrew Huberman covered this on his podcast. Works way better than Pomodoro for actual coding.
Time tracking happens automatically as you work. Useful if you're contractor or just want to see where your hours went.
Other stuff: - Google Calendar integration: see all your meetings for the day, capture meeting notes - Slack integration: turn messages into tasks and sync your DnD status - Brag book: log achievements for perf reviews - Rich Text Editor for work-related knowledge base: code snippets, small docs for yourself. - Local-first (powered by Replicache) - especially relevant for Jira users since we almost entirely eliminate the need for visiting Jira website :) for Linear users it's just a native persona extension ;) - Available on both macOs and Windows, Linux and Mobile are coming as well
Curious how other engineers here structure their day. Do you do any kind of planning ritual? Time-block? Or just working as it goes? We landed on this session-based approach after trying a bunch of things, but always interested in what works for others.
Also happy to hear what's missing.
