Teens don't need social media. If it works in 90% of cases with 10% skirting around the rules, then I think it's okay. Once they become adults, they can create an account if they want to.

I think a lot of people say “oh, what’s the point of banning social media, teens will get around it anyways”. But I think that’s good. It forces teens to be more intentional about what they consume. Teens should not be so directly operating in the legitimate consumer funnel. Bring back transgression.
