Show HN: We built an app to help you walk more

https://beststeps.app/
1•wowitsmrinal•2mo ago
My partner (designer) and I (engineer) love walking. On long hikes and trips, we often found ourself walking just a little bit more than we needed to, just to beat our personal records. But its 1) hard to remember what that record was, and 2) those memories would just stay in the Apple Health screenshots.

So we made BestSteps, an app where one can see their top-10 step count days, add notes and photos, and share any of those days with their friends.

Then we took it out for a spin, and walked 50,000 steps in 12 hours to beat our personal record (fun video on the website)

We’ve put it on the App Store (my first app!) for everyone to try. Feedback, bugs, and suggestions are all welcome.
