I went to a poker tournament with a friend recently. He plays in a lot of tournaments but is always getting eliminated because he is a somewhat risk-averse player in tournaments. From my experience with improving my chess rating through chess puzzles I suggested he should do the same. Rather than play more poker, he should practice bet assessment. Anyway I built a poker training platform for him. Each puzzle presents a real game scenario (your hand, board state, pot size) and asks you to make the optimal play.
Features:
- 2000+ puzzles covering Tight Aggressive and Loose Aggressive playing styles
- All streets: pre-flop, flop, turn, river
- Topics: GTO strategies, range construction, bluff frequency, ICM, exploitative adjustments
- Filter by difficulty (beginner to advanced)
I am also hosting it on my own-hardware in a Co-Lo facility.
Would love feedback from the HN community – especially anyone who plays poker or has built similar domain-specific training tools.
