• Following a similar complaint/demand this year for the trademarked Facebook username on the same basis, Meta/IG suspended my trademarked username alleging reported IP violation.
• I appealed & provided the trademark (again) and pointed to my Meta Business Suite - where my trademark is also on file/approved for “Brand Protection”
• Now I’m in the big tech hell of automation, no support, my appeal was denied without explanation besides referring me to the person that reported, but they will not disclose who reported/what was reported.
• It seems without being an influencer who can publicly shame them into action, or friends that work there, my remedy is sue for damages for deactivating my account damaging/diluting my trademark and find out who/what was reported (if anything)
Hoping this gets amplified on HN for resolution, but also soliciting any other advice/suggestions. Seems everyone here should have an interest in their trademarked usernames not being deactivated at the whims of big tech without remedy.
