This post has a score of -311 and nothing but negative comments. It’s pretty clear how hated this is by the community, I’d like to understand SO’s thinking here. Is there some silent majority that wishes for more AI here? Certainly hard to imagine.

Hey, I'm the Product Manager who build AI Assist. While the community members on meta have a strong opinion, I share that the community as a whole is not homogenous and we have strong signals from the various betas we built that AI Assist is providing value to thousands of users.
