Show HN: I built an app to repurpose YouTube videos for my content funnel

https://nebly.app/
1•jxywilliams•1mo ago
Hey HN,

A while ago I realized creating content for my business meant spending hours drafting and re-writing or going through 10 ChatGPT iterations just to get slop.

So I created Nebly, a tool to take my YouTube video URL, a transcript or just some of my key insights and turn that into content ready to post across my business social medias.

Now I get to spend more time working on more important things like lead gen or actual service delivery!

Now I've made it usable for others in hopes I can help them claw their time back too.

Thanks, Jay

Hey, it's Jay.

Just wanted to give you a little insight to me and why I created Nebly.

My full time gig is being a self employed estate agent, meaning I do everything from start to finish so I have to be super efficient.

I realized social media was taking up a ton of time and while it's important for my brand awareness, it certainly isn't a main driver of my business, especially when I had no name for myself.

So I started creating automations for myself to help claw back some time and focus elsewhere. Some others around me started asking about it as they'd tried ChatGPT etc. but were struggling with things sounding super generic and clearly looking like AI writing.

Now here I am creating Nebly, a way for everyone to be able to harness AI like I was.

It's my first app/saas so I'm sure I'm going to make many mistakes and things will go wrong but I'm ready to embrace that and keep improving.

Very welcome to advice and feedback, thanks all

This looks like it could be a great tool if it works well but the website maybe feels a little "scammy". I'm pretty sure even the guy's photo is AI... The image name is "efdfff99a_ChatGPTImageDec10202507_44_08PM"
jxywilliams•1mo ago
thanks for the feedback, the photo is real but i did use chatgpt for the background, may switch it for the original. was there anything else that feels off?
detectivestory•1mo ago
You say things like Nebly creators save 5+ hours per week on average but you don't provide anything to back up that claim.. little things like that. I think most people would be more convinced by just seeing it in action rather than you trying to convince them, or give them reasons for wanting to use it with unconvincing promotional text.
jxywilliams•1mo ago
got ya that makes sense, thank you
