The technical challenge: how do you let thousands of users select pixels simultaneously without double-selling the same spot?
My solution: real-time collaborative locking via WebSocket. When you select pixels, others see them locked instantly. Abandon checkout? Auto-release.
Tech stack: Supabase (Realtime + PostgreSQL with atomic RPC functions), Netlify Functions, PayPal, JWT auth – all on free tiers.
Scarcity model: Only 10K blocks (1 million pixels) exist. Ever. Price starts at $1/pixel, increases by $0.01 for every 1,000 sold. Early adopters pay less.
