Stoker began 12 years ago while I was building custom web apps for field service companies. Over time, I developed a framework that helped me deliver customisations faster. Three years ago, I started rebuilding that framework from the ground up.

Stoker takes a config-first approach, similar to Payload, and is essentially a headless CMS with an Admin UI. The front end is built with React, while the back end runs on Firebase, providing realtime updates and offline support.
