Show HN: I Built an Autonomous Marketing OS from a Small Town in India (Vect AI)

https://blog.vect.pro/ai-marketing-command-center-guide
1•afrazullal•1mo ago
Hi HN,

I’m Muhammed Mufinuddin Afraz, a solo technical founder based in Ullal, Karnataka, India.

For the past 12 months, I’ve been building Vect AI — an Autonomous Marketing Operating System designed to replace the fragmented “modern marketing stack.”

The Thesis: The Stack Is Broken

Modern marketing requires juggling 10–15 disconnected tools: one for writing, one for images, one for SEO, one for CRM, plus automation glue in between. For solo founders and lean teams, this creates siloed data, lost context, and endless prompt-copying. You spend more time managing tools than building growth.

I didn’t want a better chatbot. I wanted a command center.

What Is Vect AI?

Vect is a state-aware marketing OS.

Unlike ChatGPT-style tools that reset context every session, Vect maintains a persistent business kernel. Onboarding happens once:

Brand voice (e.g. professional, technical, witty)

Audience avatar

Core product truths

Every tool inside Vect inherits this state automatically. I never have to re-prompt “act like a B2B SaaS marketer” again — the system already knows.

Architecture: Three Layers of Autonomy

1. Sensor Layer (Grounding & Research) Most AI content is generic because it hallucinates or relies on stale data. Vect’s Market Signal Analyzer addresses this by:

Performing real-time web retrieval via Google Search APIs

Analyzing top-ranking content to detect information gaps

Scoring subtopics by velocity (0–10) to surface early “blue ocean” opportunities

2. Strategist Layer (Planning & Logic) This is the hardest problem: getting an LLM to plan without hallucinating.

Vect’s Campaign Builder takes a goal (e.g. “Launch a Black Friday offer”) and generates a structured, multi-phase plan:

Tease (anticipation)

Launch (conversion)

Close (urgency)

It produces a campaign canvas showing all required assets (emails, posts, blogs) and enforces consistency across the entire funnel.

3. Creative Layer (Execution) Vect integrates specialized agents for SEO, email, and social copy using proven frameworks (PAS, AIDA). It also integrates Google’s Veo model for physics-aware text-to-video generation, enabling high-quality commercial assets without context switching.

Why Build This From India?

Building from Ullal means no VC safety net and no large team — just code and time. That constraint forced radical efficiency.

I didn’t hire a strategist; I built the planner. I didn’t hire a researcher; I built the analyzer. I didn’t hire a video editor; I integrated one.

Vect is designed to make a solo founder operate like a full marketing team.

Availability

Vect is a web-based app using a credit system, since deep research and video generation incur real compute costs.

I’d appreciate feedback on:

The state-aware approach to brand consistency

Whether the Campaign Builder feels too rigid or appropriately opinionated

What other painful parts of your marketing workflow should be automated next
