US gov't launches 'Tech Force' to replace IT staff DOGE fired

I still can't decide whether DOGE was a genius steal "hit job" to steal a bunch of data and put people into key positions under the pretext of "reducing waste", or whether it was just truly an exercise in rushed "kill them all!" style incompetence that wasn't properly thought through.

Either way, ultimately it wasted more than it saved, and harmed thousands of lives (and tarnishing the government's reputation as an employer) in the process.

jonahbenton•7h ago
Saying it was both diminishes the sociopathy and malevolence. It was a warlike invasion, an act of great violence, and the perpetrators should be treated as criminals.
