Hi HN, I built Mirrorify after seeing a post in twitter and noticing how often I open the camera just to quickly check my appearance, and how slow and awkward that flow still is on Android and IOS ecosystem.

if you want to do it now you need to open the camera then flip to the selfie mode this is if not distracted by notifications, messages etc.

Mirrorify lets you long-press a floating bubble on the lock screen to get a small, circular front-camera mirror — no unlocking, no full camera UI.

I would appreciate feedback, especially on UX, privacy expectations, and edge cases across different Android devices.
