NMAP Scan HTML Report Style Sheet

I built an XSL stylesheet for Nmap that turns XML output into a clean, interactive HTML report.

The motivation came from penetration testing work where Nmap results are extremely useful during an engagement, but after delivery they often sit in a folder and are hard for others to read or explore. I wanted something that preserved the raw data while making it easier to understand and navigate.

The report focuses on readability and workflow rather than scoring or conclusions. It supports filtering by host and port, organizes service and script output so it stays compact, and keeps everything client side with no dependencies beyond the browser.

This is a personal project and still evolving. I’m sharing it in case it’s useful to others, and I’d really appreciate feedback on the approach or ideas for improvement.
