I built svgtowebp.org, a small “SVG to WebP” converter for the moments when you just want a quick, predictable export without uploading files.
The problem I kept running into was simple: I often get a folder of Scalable Vector Graphics (SVG) from designers, but the place I need to ship them wants a raster image, and WebP is a good format when you care about smaller files.
What this does: - Convert SVG → WebP for a single file or a whole batch (drag and drop multiple files, then one click converts the whole queue). - Control output settings: width, height, fit mode, quality, lossless toggle, background (including transparency), and DPI. - Preview output and compare file sizes, then download individual results or “Download All” as a zip.
Privacy and speed: Everything runs locally in your browser (no uploads), so your files never leave your device.
I would love feedback on edge cases (fonts, filters, very large SVGs), and on which settings you would want next.
