Show HN: VibecodePrompts – Reduce prompt friction for vibe-coding

https://vibecodeprompts.cloud
1•rubenhellman•1mo ago
Hi HN,

I’ve been spending a lot of time vibe-coding with LLMs and kept running into the same bottleneck: translating a vague idea into a prompt that produces usable output without multiple correction cycles.

Most of the time wasn’t spent coding, but refining prompts. Adding constraints, clarifying intent, restating context, fixing assumptions. It felt like a repeatable preprocessing problem rather than something that should require manual effort every time.

So I built a small tool that takes rough, unstructured input and rewrites it into a more explicit, structured prompt optimized for vibe-coding style workflows. The focus is on intent extraction, constraint clarification, and reducing prompt entropy so the first generation is closer to what you actually want.

Under the hood, it’s tuned to recognize common failure modes in AI-assisted building like underspecified requirements, implicit assumptions, and missing system-level context.

This isn’t meant to replace iteration or thinking, just to reduce prompt churn and help people stay in flow, especially non-technical builders.

Curious to hear thoughts from people building with LLMs. Is prompt friction something you accept as inherent, or do you think it’s worth systematizing like any other part of the pipeline?
