I still remember my first Christmas in a game years ago. that unexpectedly turned into gift-for-gift, because you couldn’t buy gifts for yourself. But it showed me something truly magical - strangers coming together with holiday spirit. It stuck with me.
When I started researching Christmas traditions, Secret Santa completely captivated me. But back home, it isn’t very common. My class and internship company hosted it, so I finally got to experience it, but it felt… transactional. Not engaging. Missing that magic.
That's when the idea hit: What if Secret Santa wasn't just about gifts, but about connection? What if the real gift was the mystery itself?
And here's my favorite part: When real gifts between strangers are impractical, why not customized greeting cards? There's something special about receiving something handmade. The effort someone puts into creating just for you - that never goes wrong for me.
For years, this idea kept me up at night. Now, after discovering vibe coding just last week (truly magical), I’m finally building Secret Santa Wonderland — hopefully bringing that magic to everyone this Christmas.

Secret Santa Wonderland transforms traditional gift exchanges into an exciting social deduction experience where players must guess their Secret Santa's identity through hints, mini-games, and conversation.
Problem we solve: - Holiday loneliness (especially for remote workers/students) - Awkward virtual gatherings with no structure - Traditional Secret Santa lacks engagement - Difficulty meeting new people during holidays - No one to play Secret Santa with
How it works: 1. Join/create a room (public or private), with minimum of 4 players 2. Get assigned a Secret Santa anonymously 3. Receive 3 personalized hints about your Santa 4. Chat with everyone to gather clues 5. Play holiday mini-games for extra guesses 6. Draw a greeting card for your Santee and receive one from your Secret Santa during the big reveal 7. Guess the most to win!
