Ask HN: I built a SaaS that nobody asked for, now what?

3•ahmgeek•1h ago
Hey, I built yet another VoIP SaaS business, registered it, and even handled the paperwork. In my head, it was a great product; in reality, I have no clue how to sell it or where.

Every day I say, maybe I need to add a feature or make the mobile app, but I know this is not the right thing to do; I need to find people who want it. It's just, I have no clue where...

For solo founders and software makers who are profitable, how did you sell it at the beginning?

Thank you so much, really helpful. I will try to reach some people I know.

Can you share a link? Maybe someone will find it helpful
ahmgeek•1h ago
Really embarrassed by it, I shared on here and on Producthunt, but got near zero engagement.

Looks great to me, how is this different from the competition? If you can add something new you can reach out to small businesses and start selling. For example, most small businesses can’t respond to calls while they’re working, like barbers, makeup artists etc. Add agents that can respond to customers.

Thank you, great idea, I will add it to the homepage.
