FOMO is a great way to be unfocused and end up falling behind.

“Clearly some powerful alien tool was handed around except it comes with no manual and everyone has to figure out how to hold it and operate it, while the resulting magnitude 9 earthquake is rocking the profession. Roll up your sleeves to not fall behind.”

You know, or there is no “powerful alien tool”, just a couple new design patterns, some which will win, some which will lose.

And it’s probably good to get this much attention to suss out the winners and losers. But the real wins will come from the people with domain expertise who stand back and learn from the first movers.
