Ask HN: Has anyone paid for adaptive onboarding vs. traditional B2B funnels?

1•Angelcee•2h ago
I’m exploring a B2B onboarding / acquisition approach that treats the user journey as dynamic rather than a fixed funnel.

Instead of predefined personas or rigid steps, each visitor is guided through a self-serve flow that adapts based on how they interact with the content. Different inputs and engagement signals influence what information is shown next, aiming to better match a prospect’s intent and level of understanding.

The broader goal is to reduce reliance on static funnels, manual segmentation, and demo-heavy sales processes, especially for higher-consideration B2B products.

I’m curious whether anyone here has built or paid for something along these lines, and whether this feels like a real problem worth solving—or just added complexity.
