Show HN: Brainrot Translator – Convert corporate speak to Gen Alpha and back

https://brainrottranslator.com
31•todaycompanies•1mo ago
Hey HN, I built this because the generational gap online is getting wider (and weirder). It’s an LLM-wrapper that translates "Boomer" (normal/corporate English) into "Brainrot" (Gen Alpha slang) and vice versa. It also has an "Image-to-Rot" feature that uses vision to describe uploaded images in slang. It’s mostly for fun, but actually kind of useful for deciphering what your younger cousins are saying. Would love to hear what you think!

Great, finally I can understand my kids.

same here, and you can talk to them in their language too, "clean your room son" translates to some skibidi 67 slop lol

Losing touch with this newest generation of memes feels like "retiring" to me, and I'm quite enjoying it.

Im 43 years old, I understand completely lol
Bridged7756•1mo ago
You should add a wall of fame of public PR/political posts or statements translated to brainrot speak. Would be funny, I think.

CRINGE LEVEL: 3/67 ANALYSIS: Bro, who even is Ishmael? Sounds like some ancient-ass boomer who peaked centuries ago. "Watery part of the world"? Is this dude discovering oceans for the first time? Did he just crawl out of a dusty crypt? The whole vibe is giving "grandpa telling me about his glory days when he had to walk uphill both ways to, like, not get hit by a horse carriage." And apparently, "spleen regulation" is his flex? My guy, get a therapist, not a boat. "Damp, drizzly November in my soul" is a straight 67 for poetry readings at awkward family gatherings. And the whole "knocking people's hats off" thing... Sir, this isn't 1850s TikTok. You'd get canceled faster than you can say "philosophical flourish." The sheer audacity of comparing himself to Cato throwing himself on a sword? My man, you're literally just taking a boat trip. The delusion is real. This isn't deep, it's just dusty. Get cooked.

AURA IMPACT: -15 Aura Points. The sheer lack of modern slang and the overwhelming "I'm so profound" energy just drains the battery. Needs a hard reset and a dose of reality.
