I spent the last 6 weeks "vibe coding" this Flutter app using Google's new Antigravity IDE.
*The Goal:* Make chess fun/arcade-y again. No theory, just intuition.
*The Tech:* * Built in 37 days (started Nov 24, 2025) * ~61k lines of active Dart code (AI-assisted) * Google Antigravity acting as a "Junior Dev" partner
*The "Vibe Coding" Experience:* It felt like holding hands with a junior developer. We did 2-3 iterations on features that normally take days, but finished them in 20 minutes. The code definitely has holes, and it’s not perfectly optimized, but the speed of delivery was 10x my normal pace.
*Stats:* * 862 commits * Local bots, online leagues, and offline "board companion" mode * Translated into 45 languages (AI)
It’s messy, it’s chaotic, but it works. I’d love feedback on the gameplay or the "Antigravity" workflow.
