How have founders been successful at finding quality beta testers?

i'm interested in knowing where and how founders of tech start ups found quality beta testers that provided relative and actionable feedback ie. what's good and what's not AND why or what would work better. Thx

You’re asking for a product manager that also does a little quality control.
Users are unlikely to accurately describe what would work better. Translating customer feedback, interviews, and behavior into a list of to-do items is difficult to do well, and why product management is a career.
