I have made this app called WorldConverse (https://github.com/anonymouslyanonymous1/WorldConverse) - it's like Reddit and Twitter but on a map/geographic organisation. You can check at a glimpse what's happening, where. I call the indicators, "Core". As more and more people join the core (=> message at least once), the core enlarges - so you'll be able to tell stuff that's trending apart. My main idea is to give people a go-to/single platform to discuss developing news in the world, albeit specific to their region.

I have made a bare minimum structure and open-sourced it, I haven't hosted it yet, but I'd like to hear you lot's thoughts on feasibility, appeal and suggestions..
