Ask HN: What personal project do you plan to scale in 2026?

6•laurentiurad•1mo ago
I am interested to learn what other people in tech want to build/scale this year. Usually people set up ambitious targets at the beginning of the year, so I am looking forward to learning what you guys plan to work on.

I'm planning on working on a Todo app (yep full clique, mock away) based on Todo.txt. I'm modifying the base format and I'm going to write various clients for it. I'm starting with nushell as that's my current favourite shell.

Not scaling it as no one will use it, likely not me.

I am building an SDK for embeddable analytics for text to sql / vizualization. (https://querypanel.io).

It uses zero trust architecture, and provides an interface for training the AI for more accurate results. I already have a client in the loop, hopefully we can close the deal soon.

Scale from tech perspective: I plan to move forward to full dashboard management + agent kit.

Scale from financial perspective: My plan is to reach ~120k - 200k ARR at the end of the year.

Planning to scale UXWizz, I'll narrow down the niche I'm focusing on (to be targeted more towards web agencies), and I'll go all-in on educational content (tutorials).
