Show HN: Create PDFs in ChatGPT natively. Convert Latex to pdf and download

https://www.strivemath.com/pdf
3•apulkit6•1mo ago
Gemini's inbuilt canvas could compile Latex and create a pdf. ChatGPT can now as well, with the launch of their Apps SDK. We made an app that compiles the Latex code written by ChatGPT and shows the PDF in the chat window. Users can then ask ChatGPT to make further edits, or download the PDF and share it. It's most commonly used by math teachers to make math worksheets

I would love to see what other apps the community has made and submitted to OpenAI for approval!

Very cool — this closes one of the biggest gaps for using ChatGPT in real classrooms. Generating good questions was always easy; turning them into clean PDFs was the annoying part. Interested to see if you add things like auto-differentiated worksheets or per-student variants next.

I use this tool to make worksheets and find it very convenient and easy to use. It saves me a lot of time and it's super easy to use. Very happy using it and hope to see added differentiation options or more ways to customize worksheets in the future.

Awesome tool, very helpful for doing something I was already doing but in a way that took much longe, and the sheets it creates are really neat!

Simple idea, well executed! Seeing compiled PDFs directly in the chat loop is surprisingly powerful, especially for math-heavy content.

The worksheet use-case makes a lot of sense. Fast iteration + clean PDFs is exactly what teachers need when generating personalized material at scale.

This is one of the first demos where “ChatGPT as a platform” feels concrete. Rendering real artifacts like PDFs in-chat changes how people approach document creation

I use this to create math worksheets, and it’s incredibly useful. It saves a lot of time and makes the whole process much easier.

Awesome tool. Saves me a ton of time creating and updating worksheets i generate for my students. Appreciate that i can view the worksheets/pdf in realtime before downloading it.
